Introduction

Over the past several months, I've shared children's books, storytime ideas, Tiny Moments, surprise mail ideas, Activity Kits, Virtual Adventure Days, and creative ways to help long-distance grandparents stay close to the grandchildren they love.

And if I'm being honest...I've been asking myself the same question many of you may have been wondering:

How does all of this fit together?

A few days ago, while reflecting on that question, I had one of those beautiful moments where the answer suddenly became so clear.

It's all about the stories.

Not just the stories we read. But the stories we create together with our grandchildren.

The traditions.
The inside jokes.
The conversations.
The little moments that become part of their childhood.

Because these moments become memories.
The memories become stories.
And the stories become our legacy.

In this video, I'm sharing the personal journey that led me to this realization—including the story of my grandmother, my grandson, and one unexpected FaceTime call that reminded me why this all matters so much.
